Ensuring the safety of residents and employees is a key responsibility and an increasingly important element of modern investments. In response to these needs, we present the Scolopendra – an underground, modular collective shelter designed specifically for the public and development sectors. The Scolopendra is the ideal solution for protecting populations in the event of a crisis. Thanks to its scalable design, the shelter can be precisely tailored to the requirements of any given investment—from residential estates and office buildings to public facilities managed by municipalities, cities, and other local government units (LGUs).

Interior layout

A thoughtfully designed interior featuring comfortable toilets situated under the stairwells, with the option to add numerous storage lockers and compartments as required.

Communication

Standard equipment includes devices for receiving radio broadcasts and for internal communication. The shelter can also be outfitted with advanced connectivity systems.

Seating & Rest Areas

The internal layout provides seating for all sheltered occupants. Designated rest areas are also included, which can serve as an aid station for the injured during a crisis.

Occupant Safety

The interior is constructed from non-combustible materials, with energy storage units located outside the main perimeter. The layout is designed to allow for the safe movement of large groups, including individuals in wheelchairs and those requiring stretchers.

Adaptive Capabilities

The Scolopendra can be configured to meet the technical requirements of various security classes. Its protection level can be upgraded by retrofitting security systems or by adding reinforced concrete panels to enhance the structure’s resilience.

Modularity

The shelters can be linked modularly, allowing for the creation of dedicated and customized spaces.
